Our story
In my years in the workplace, I worked beside brilliant Filipino colleagues. In my experience, many kept their best ideas to themselves in meetings. It wasn’t a lack of talent. Many had simply never been taught how to put their thoughts into words out loud.
Then I saw the same challenge at home. My own child is smart, yet explaining an idea clearly can be hard. That’s when I realized that speaking up is a skill, and skills can be taught, early and gently.
Abante Pilipinas gives Filipino kids simple formulas and one-minute practice, so they can share their ideas with confidence while keeping the respect and warmth we’re proud of.
